Steve, it is currently Feb 2012. Although some of this info is "all over" the internet, you did a great job of bringing this information out in a concise and useful way thanks. In the last couple months of 2011 a geologist has suggested some more information about the relationship between the "deep wells" and the undercutting of the tectonic plates. He actually has a map similar to the one you have in this story (similar to Cayce). Do you happen to know of this "new" information? I cant seem to find the article. I suppose it is like astrology. I am not vouching for it. I am just
presenting it. I don't know whether the video is accurate as to the
position of the comet and the alignment of earth. However, she was accurate
on the predictions whether coincidental or otherwise. I know that part of
the theory about 2012 has to do with planetary alignment with the center of
the galaxy and scientist definitely relate that to growing incidence of
solar flares and disruption. Also, the idea of polar shifts ocurring is
scientically believe to have occurred a number of time. We have seen north
shifting enough recently to change runway signs at some airports.

Isn't this a little like believing in astrology? I am referring to a passing comet causing or predicting an earthquake as opposed to actually striking the planet.

I got a little curious about the effects of the geomagnetic reversal on plate tectonics and it seems to be a question of which is causing. Just to contribute to the discussion I have copied the relevant portion of the Wiki on geomagnetic reversal below...

"Some scientists, such as Richard A. Muller, believe that geomagnetic reversals are not spontaneous processes but rather are triggered by external events which directly disrupt the flow in the Earth's core.[6] Such processes may include the arrival of continental slabs carried down into the mantle by the action of plate tectonics at subduction zones, the initiation of new mantle plumes from the core-mantle boundary, and possibly mantle-core shear forces resulting from very large impact events. Supporters of this theory hold that any of these events could lead to a large scale disruption of the dynamo, effectively turning off the geomagnetic field. Because the magnetic field is stable in either the present North-South orientation or a reversed orientation, they propose that when the field recovers from such a disruption it spontaneously chooses one state or the other, such that a recovery is seen as a reversal in about half of all cases."

Fascinating events and it seems urgent that we understand what's really going on, if we can.

Interesting. I have also been wondering how many of the geophysical events we have experienced lately are related to astrophysical events. There was some speculation that the changing polarity could trigger shifts in plates among other phenomenon. This is a very interesting avenue of thought.

Big money and an elected Supreme court can lead to some pretty dire consequences for those without economic or political power. Tort reform is a code phrase for releasing large corporations and institutions from their responsiblility to provide safe and reliable products and services and to compensate their customers when they fail in that responsibility. Rulings like this free all of corporate America to forget about OUR safety and focus only on what is most profitable for THEM.

Jung was a man well before his time. I am always amazed he was not demonized or marginalized. the Native Americans have been foretelling earth changes for over a decade that I know of. I personally believe that with the coming of Baha'ullah--the prophet founder of the Baha'i Faith --we can heal this plane.or God can. Ba'aullah says that THIS time is the foretold is the new heaven and new earth". Our hearts must change-- voluntarily we must turn "back" to the knowing you speak of. (The Native Americans have not competely lost this.) It is not really "back" as this is the tome of integration of the right brain and the left brain, the heart and the mind the East and the west.

Think about it-- if God can create this miraculous Universe...He can also heal it. but we must choose heart (God's place of abide) and God, and connection and harmony...

I have been following the links you have posted knowing they were related to some dreams you'd had but didn't know the exact nature of the dreams. Thanks for sharing the dreams and giving context to the links. I have also had an unusual dream that has repeated itself a couple of times. I can only remember one other dream repeating itself in my life and that one only once. I don't usually remember my dreams but the three I have had of our country and my family in the depths of a collapse of our economy and civil war have had a powerful effect on my conscious life. Dreams are powerful and should be examined carefully, in the old days we would have taken these dreams to a shaman to tell us what they meant to us and the rest of the tribe. Unfortunately, there are no shamans in our culture (who charge less than $350 an hour) to inform us. I have also returned to Jung for some help in understanding what my connection to the collective unconscious is trying to tell me, but haven't devoted the time I should to the study. I have been so sidetracked trying to keep my dream from coming true that I haven't had time to really study it as I'd like to. Just because a fault has not been identified in the GoM, does not mean one doesn't exist, or could not form. We have been removing fluid and gas from beneath the sea bed for many years, changing the composition, magnetic fields, and pressure. It seems likely that the sea bed may change in response. When a crustal structure changes, viola! earthquakes. I'm no geologist, but it makes sense to me. The planet is dynamic and everything is interconnected. We truly know very little about its interior structure or how it works.
